Acclaimed Scottish author James Kelman discusses his new novel Mo Said She Was Quirky, an inspired and absorbing story of 24 hours in the life of an ordinary young woman, as ordinary, as unique, as each and every one of us. Kelman explores the stuff of life: trust, love, relationships, death, wealth and poverty with his trademark wit and honesty. His previous books include the short story collection If it is your life and novels Kieron Smith, Boy and How Late It Was, How Late, which won the 1994 Booker Prize.
