We4Poets celebrate the launch of two new books by two new writers with an evening of music, poetry and comic tales. After the Riot, Quiet is an anthology of thought-provoking, humorous and poignant poems by Stanley Ayodeji. Jack Parr by David A Llewellyn is the laugh-out loud story of one boy’s battle against mediocrity. Stan and David will be joined on-stage for an evening of comedy, music and poetry by some of the most talented performers, poets and musicians in Manchester including: Tez Skachill, singer and lead guitarist with Grim Architect; writer, poet and urban anthropologist Akiel Chinelo; former Bond Girl Kate Woodward; international burlesque performer and poet Kat; extreme poet, journalist and raconteur Justine Chamberlain; guitarist Tom Kowalcyzk; performer, storyteller and Drabble Diary publisher Sharon Richards; poet and acrobat Tricia Ashworth and singer/songwriter Paul Clarke.
