He is now a cellist with ensembles and orchestras throughout the UK, including the BBC Philharmonic, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Welsh National Opera. Doug plays a fine 19th century cello of unknown origin, generously bequeathed to him by Kitty Gregorson.
