Oystercatcher is a music collective based in Manchester. At its core are multi-instrumentalists Caitlin Laing (vocals) and Tom Chapman (bass), although the line-up changes fluidly, ranging from a duo to an orchestra and everything in between.
This time Tom and Caitlin will be incorporating guitar, kit, two vocals and string quartet. Also performing will be Rowan Lark and Bella Moth.
Bella Moth use intricate lyrics and seething grooves to create atmosphere. Their aim is to produce music that is refined and relevant. Taking inspiration from artists such as; Massive Attack, Portishead and Aphex Twin- they have a unique sound of their own already beginning to emerge
Brought up in the mountains of Granada, Rowan Lark was fed a diet of Flamenco and Latin American music. She combines her childhood influences with jazz, pop and storytelling to create a unique acoustic show.
