Concert: Sly Antics

  • Sat 11 Nov 2017
  • 7:00 pm
  • £8.00
share

Sly Antics are two cousins Sam and Lee Hudson and another lad called Chris who make noise that feels like being hit hard and repeatedly in the face with a box of stale cereal.

They arrived onto the Manchester scene in 2016 with their epic debut EP Captive City in their pockets and have been relentlessly spreading their dirty pop-rock sound across the country ever since, leading to sold out shows and festival appearances alongside the likes of Maximo Park and Fun Lovin Criminals.

Their live performances are labelled as ‘Raucous and ear blistering’ and song writing branded as ‘Catchy, clever and powerful’. In 2017, Sly Antics released single Motion along with a tour of incredible performances around the UK and are now bringing their shenanigans to The Engine House for what is sure to be a noisy affair.

Championed by Fred Perry Subculture and Louder Than War and described as ‘ones to watch’ by Radio 1 this is certainly not one to miss. It won’t be long before Sly Antics are dominating the world with their gorgeous racket.
