Delia Derbyshire Day with the Delia Darlings

After the sell-out success of their event in 2013, the Delia Darlings present Delia Derbyshire Day 2014, the follow up event honouring the fascinating work and archive of pioneering electronic music composer Delia Derbyshire (1937-2001), best known for her work with the BBC Radiophonic Workshop and her original 1963 theme for Dr Who. The event features a new commission by composer/musician Daniel Weaver and a new digital visual art work from new media artist Andrea Pazos, both created in response to the Delia Derbyshire archive in Manchester, UK. The evening will also feature an exciting audio-visual collage of the Delia Derbyshire archive by David Butler and Sarah Hill, and performances from Caro C and Ailis Ni Riain. View the trailer, purchase tickets or find out more at the Delia Darlings blog, on Facebook or Twitter
