Helen Simpson is the author of five collections of short stories, the most recent of which is In-Flight Entertainment. Her previous books include Four Bare Legs in a Bed and Other Stories and Hey Yeah Right Get a Life. Ben’s first novel Noughties was published to critical acclaim in 2012 when he was also selected as one of Vogue’s 16 “Faces of the Future”. He has a host of journalistic credits to his name, has completed a PhD on post-war fiction at the University of Cambridge under Robert MacFarlane, and joined the Manchester Writing School at MMU as a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing in September 2013.
