The main lecture for this one-day conference is by internationally-renowned author Anthony Peake, author of many books including his recent study of Priestley ‘Time and the Rose Garden‘.
Anthony Peake was the keynote speaker at the annual J.B. Priestley Society lecture at Queen Mary University in London and is a member of the J.B. Priestley Society. He lives in West Sussex, UK.
Also featured: John Baxendale on Priestley’s experimental drama and the inter-war “High-brow v Middle-brow” controversies.
The conference features detailed reassessments of Priestley’s boldest dramatic experiments. Plus:
