Speakers will include previous winners of our Writing for Television Awards, experienced writers and producers for TV, a representative from Arts Council England, and BBC Radio’s Sue Roberts. Tea and coffee will be provided but please bring your own lunch.
There will be a small number of spaces available for live pitching in front of an audience with feedback from a professional panel. If you’re interested in taking part in this, please complete the form here. You must have booked for the event to be allocated a live pitching slot. On the form, you will be asked to provide:
> A short synopsis of a work in progress
> 3 pages of script
The Northern Writers’ Awards are produced by New Writing North with support from Northumbria University, Arts Council England and a range of industry partners.
