Viv Groskop has discovered the meaning of life…in Russian literature.
Her new book ‘The Anna Karenina Fix’ is a literary self-help memoir, in which the award-winning comedian, broadcaster and writer mines the pages of thirteen Russian classics for the answers to life’s most pressing questions. From not being sure what to do with your life (Anna Karenina), to loving someone who doesn’t love you back enough (Turgenev’s A Month in the Country), to being anxious about your appearance (anything by Chekhov).
Viv is the author of the life-in-comedy memoir ‘I Laughed, I Cried’, which Jennifer Saunders called ‘absolutely hilarious’; an award-winning performer whose solo Edinburgh shows are regular sell-outs, and a frequent presence in newspapers, television and radio programmes. She will be in conversation with host Carol Ackroyd.
