Marlowe’s timeless classic is brought up-to-date with a brand new production by The Manchester Indie Film Makers Group, a volunteer group within the Manchester Central Library.
This production features a talented cast, in conjunction with immersive multimedia.
After conjuring up Lucifer’s archangel, Mephistophilis, Faustus agrees to sign over his soul for unlimited powers and wealth. Marlowe’s text provides a fascinating insight into human greed and corruption which still resonates with us all in our modern society.
Join us on a journey that will transport you into the satanic imaginations of Doctor Faustus, and allow you to fly with Faustus to exotic worlds, meet the Seven Deadly Sins, and smell and taste the depths of heaven and hell. This is theatre as you’ve never experienced it before!
