Remembrance Sunday concert
- Sun 11 Nov 2012

Join us at Imperial War Museum North, Salford this Remembrance Sunday for a special concert of music and poetry inspired by the First and Second World War.
This event will feature a performance of the recently rediscovered Sonata for Cello and Piano in G Minor written by Anthony Burgess. The piece is dedicated to the fallen of the Second World War and was written when Burgess was on active service in Gibraltar in 1945. We’re delighted to present the leading contemporary ensemble Psappha, who will also play musical settings of poetry by Siegfried Sassoon and Rupert Brooke.
Main exhibition space. Free, all welcome.
