  • 9:30 am
  • £32.50

The Wagner Society Manchester presents Anthony Ogus –Staging Wagner, a talk on the evolution of Wagner production styles, including video extracts and a general discussion.

This day will include participation by a Members’ Panel, invited to contribute to the productions under review. This is a unique opportunity to re examine some past productions, with an enthusiast, in an interesting and participative fashion. This should be a lively day! Why not join us?

Wagner Society Manchester The Wagner Society exists for the promotion of knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the life and works of Richard Wagner and is affiliated to the Richard Wagner Verband International. The Society’s activities include regular meetings, talks, study days, concerts and master-classes, for which a modest charge is made. Members are kept up-to-date with events through a quarterly publication, Wagner News, as well as through this website.

To make sure of your booking for this event, which takes place at the Burgess Foundation from 9.30am until 3.15pm, contact Elaine Burrows on eb20111@hotmail.co.uk or via the Wagner Society website.
