The Manchester Indie Filmmakers Group presents The First Men In The Moon, a new adaptation written by Brian Clarke based on the classic HG Wells story.

This new production using pre-filmed and live action will captivate all ages set in an alternative steampunk era. You will be transported with our intrepid space travellers’ ‘Bedford’ and ‘Cavor’ together with a cast of characters to the Moon. Here you will discover what they found. Will they ever return?

This immersive production by the Manchester Indie Film Makers Group is a volunteer-led group based at Manchester Central Library. The group was founded over three years ago and has since gone onto to make several short films and hosted various events at Central Library in Manchester and the International Anthony Burgess Foundation.
