Nicholas Royle and Nicholas Royle launch their new books, An English Guide to Birdwatching (Myriad Editions) and Ornithology (Confingo Publishing), respectively, with readings and discussion compered by the incomparable Matthew Frost.

Nicholas Royle, Nicholas RoyleNicholas Royle, Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the Manchester Writing School at Manchester Metropolitan University, is the author of seven novels, including First Novel and Antwerp, and one previous short story collection. His new book, Ornithology, is his second collection.

Nicholas Royle, meanwhile, is Professor of English at the University of Sussex and the author of numerous works of non-fiction, including The Uncanny and Veering, and one previous novel, Quilt. His new book, An English Guide to Birdwatching, is his second novel.

Nicholas Royle and Nicholas Royle share an interest in birds and Doppelgängers.
