Thursday 28 June: papers and discussion focussing on the novel A Clockwork Orange, with a keynote speech from Kevin Jackson, writer and director of the documentary film Burgess At Seventy. Followed in the evening by a wine reception and a chamber concert including the UK premiere of Anthony Burgess’s music for A Clockwork Orange.

Friday 29 June: papers and discussion of the impact on culture and society of A Clockwork Orange, including a keynote speech on Nadsat and teenage slang by Jonathon Green, editor of Chambers Slang Dictionary. Followed by a special screening of A Clockwork Orange (Stanley Kubrick, 1971) at Cornerhouse.

Saturday 30 June: papers and discussion on the stage and film versions of A Clockwork Orange, including keynote speeches from Richard Daniels, director of the Stanley Kubrick Archive, and Peter Kramer, author of A Clockwork Orange (Controversies) for the BFI. Followed by a rare screening of Vinyl (Andy Warhol, 1965) at Cornerhouse.
