Join us for a New Year Doctor Who treat as we welcome producer Philip Hinchcliffe to Manchester in conversation with Justin Johnson. A rare chance to meet this legendary Doctor Who producer who made Tom Baker arguably the best loved and acclaimed Doctor of the original run, from 1975 to 1977, from The Ark In Space to the Talons Of Weng Chiang.

Davros! Leela! Morbius! Sarah and Harry! It’s an incredible run and we can’t wait to hear Philip’s recollections.

Please note: This interview will be filmed for inclusion on the VAM DVD for the forthcoming Philip Hinchcliffe book – The DNA of Doctor Who Volume 1. The session will also provide autograph opportunities at the close.

Delighted to also announce we’ll be joined on the day by Doctor Who and pop art legend Jeff Cummins. Jeff’s career is extensive and includes a number of striking Target Doctor Who covers, including Hinchcliffe-era classics The Face of Evil and Talons of Weng Chiang. Jeff will be selling prints of his acclaimed work and it’s a thrill to welcome him to Manchester.
