“This is the anthology – or should I say the evidence – that we need to read and understand as we advance into the perilous mid twenty-first century. In this meticulously curated selection, you’ll find varied explorations of the complexities and contradictions of identifying as a woman today crafted with courage, verve and poetic imagination. A multi-faceted jewel of a book.” – Jacqueline Saphra
“Woman, Mapped is the most incredible celebration of literary sisterhood and solidarity. Whether its contributors are conjuring the ghost of Sylvia Plath in the shower, telling the incomplete biography of an 18th century Vietnamese poet, writing golden shovels for Irish Murdoch or recounting a mother’s texts after a night in A&E, these poets are reading and writing us a new canon.” – Clare Pollard
Woman, Mapped is part of the By Poets, For Poets programme from the Women Poets’ Network, which received public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
The Rebecca Swift Foundation is the home of the Women Poets’ Network. F
