An Evening with Chris McKinnell: Where the movies end, the real cases begin.

Step beyond the Hollywood versions of The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Nun and some of the most famous paranormal cases ever documented for a rare evening with Chris McKinnell, grandson of legendary paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.

Chris grew up surrounded by the cases that would later become part of modern paranormal history. More importantly, he went on to become an investigator in his own right, working alongside Ed and Lorraine and spending decades researching hauntings, unexplained phenomena and the nature of human consciousness.

Now, for one night in Manchester, Chris brings those experiences to the atmospheric and distinctive surroundings of the International Anthony Burgess Foundation.

Expect an evening of extraordinary stories, first-hand recollections and a look behind cases that millions of people know only through films and television.

On the night

Chris will explore:

🔍 Cases & Investigations
Hear about real paranormal investigations spanning decades, including cases Chris personally worked on and others preserved within the Warren archives.

🔍 The Stories Behind the Films
Discover what really happened in cases that went on to inspire films within The Conjuring Universe, and where the real events differ from their Hollywood counterparts.

🔍 Ed & Lorraine Warren
Hear Chris speak about the people behind the famous names, their methods, beliefs, investigations and what life around the Warrens was actually like.

🔍 Fact vs Fiction
Separate documented events, witness testimony and family history from decades of mythology and movie storytelling.

🔍 The Warren Legacy
Chris discusses how the work continues today through the Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research and how his own views of paranormal phenomena have developed over more than four decades.

🔍 Audience Q&A
The evening will conclude with an opportunity to put your own questions directly to Chris.

About Chris McKinnell

Chris McKinnell is the grandson of Ed and Lorraine Warren and Director of the Warren Legacy Foundation for Paranormal Research.

His involvement with paranormal investigation stretches back more than four decades and has taken him across six continents and thousands of cases.

Unlike someone simply recounting stories about the Warrens, Chris was there.

He worked directly with his grandparents, participated in major investigations and witnessed first-hand events that have since become part of paranormal folklore.

This evening provides a rare opportunity to hear those stories direct from the source.
