Mandy CoeThis poetry workshop with Mandy Coe, award-winning poet and poetry tutor, aims to entertain, inform and inspire us.

In this workshop we will explore a range of contemporary and classic poems, alongside guided writing activities to create new work. Part of the Society of Medical Writers “Music and Medicine” weekend, this workshop is also open to the public and is suitable for writers at any level. We will explore a range of contemporary and classic poems, alongside guided writing activities to create new work. We will observe two minutes silence at 11am to observe Remembrance Day.

Timetable:
09:30 onwards: Arrive, coffee and registration.
10.30 Mandy Coe workshop begins
11.00 Two minutes silence – Remembrance Sunday
11.03 Resume workshop
13.30 Lunch:- buffet or soup – vegan options. (Book in advance )
14.00 Continue writing, Selected readings (optional)
14.30 Close
14.45 Farewell and depart
