Reimagined City Festival is back, twice as big with even more art forms! Join us for a weekend of music, poetry, movement, art, theatre and dance workshops and performances, all led by emerging artists with migrant background!

Tickets from just £5!

Reimagined City is a collaborative festival that showcases diverse culture through art and music activities. The festival aim to bring social coherence in metropolitan district by bridging the gap between the understanding of migrant culture and local culture. Marking Manchester’s debut art and music festival celebrating the International Migrant Day, Reimagined City Festival is open to all.

7th December

2pm Percussion Workshop with Harriet Kwong

3.15pm Parkour and Movement Workshop with Louiseanne Wong

4.45pm Johanna Leung (music) and Alice Vincent- Barwood (art)

5.30pm Sharvi Rana (theatre)

6.15pm Jason Ho-Yin Wong (percussion)

8th December

2pm Poetry and Spoken Word Workshop with Cherrelle Anne

3.15pm World Music Workshop with K’in Ensemble

4.15pm Cherrelle Anne (spoken word performance)

5pm Alvin Wong (saxophone)

6pm K’in Ensemble (fusion band)

6.45pm Reimagined City Artists Commission*

*Brand new performance including Sharvi Rana (theatre), Louiseanne Wong (movement), Cherrelle Anne (poetry), Johanna Leung (music)

Festival artist lineup:

Cherelle Ann (poetry/ spoken words workshop and performance), Tina Ramos Ekongo (art installation workshop), K’in Ensemble (fusion ensemble workshop and performance), Harriet Kwong (percussion workshop), Johanna Leung (multi-media/ clarinet performance), Sharvi Rana (theatrical performance), Louiseanne Wong (parkour/ movement workshop), Jason Wong (percussion performance), Alvin Wong (saxophone performance).

The festival is open to all ages. Young people under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
