CIDRAL: Colin Grant in conversation with Ellah Wakatama Allfrey

Colin GrantColin Grant, historian and author of Homecoming: Voice of the Windrush Generation will be in conversation with Ellah Wakatama Allfrey.

Colin Grant is a historian and journalist, and is an Associate Fellow in the Centre for Caribbean Studies as well as a producer for BBC radio.

He is the author, most recently, of the acclaimed ‘Homecoming: Voice of the Windrush Generation’, as well as four previous books: ‘A Smell of Burning: A Memoir of Epilepsy’, ‘Bageye at the Wheel’, ‘The Natural Mystics: Marley, Tosh and Livingstone’, and ‘Negro with a Hat: The Rise and Fall of Marcus Garvey’.

Colin teaches creative non-fiction, and has written and produced a number of drama-documentaries, as well as plays such as The Clinic, based on the photojournalists, Tim Page and Don McCullin.
