Producers! Be they executive, development, supervising, line, associate, co – they’re the glue that holds together a production, battling budgets, determining the deliverables and preparing pipelines in order to ensure projects get over the line. Join us for a deep dive into the purpose of a producer as we put our questions to a panel of experts and they deliver their animated answers.

Carolyn Soper is an experienced film producer and studio executive. She is currently producing Bad Fairies, a subversive musical comedy set in contemporary London about a badass gang of fairies who break every rule in the book, for Locksmith Animation and Warner Bros Pictures.

Chris Hees is the founder and lead producer at UK production company Bridge Way Films. He is a BAFTA winning, Oscar nominated producer and alumni of the prestigious National Film and Television School, ACE Producers, Berlinale Talents, Creative England’s Market Trader, Screen Yorkshire’s Flex and Cannes Producer Network.

Chris Bowden is Producer for the TV series Mixmups, and part of the team at world renowned animation studio, MacKinnon & Saunders. He has produced over 500 episodes of children’s TV including Raa Raa the Noisy Lion, Postman Pat SDS, The Twirlywoos and Moon & Me.
