About Dr Erin Pallott

Erin has always had an interest in all things gross science. After a childhood of digging for bugs and begging to stay up late to watch grisly medical shows, she was eventually led to a PhD in immunology.

During her four years of researching mucus responses against parasites, she became heavily involved in bringing science to the public, uncovering a true passion for bringing mucus to the masses.

Erin now works as a Science Communication Officer at The University of Manchester, helping researchers improve their communication skills and get ideas for how to make their research fun.
