We were delighted this week to acquire a number of new music manuscripts for the Burgess Collection dating from the early 1960s, including ‘Eine Kleine Battlesmusick’, a piece for recorder and piano, as well as two Elizabethan airs, occasional pieces for a silver wedding and for Christmas, and various sketches.
