Entries are now closed for the Observer / Burgess Prize for Arts Journalism.
We asked for 800-word reviews of a recently released book, film, concert, exhibition, ballet, play, TV show or performance art piece. The closing date was 5pm on 30 November 2018. The shortlist will be announced in January 2019. The winner will be announced in February 2019 at a ceremony at Kings Place, London. Please note that due to the volume of entries, unsuccessful entrants will not be notified, but each submission will receive full consideration.
