About the books

Bestselling author Juno Dawson’s new novel Survival Show! is an electrifying dystopian YA about a glitzy, cutthroat reality TV competition where contestants compete for a place in the ultimate global girlband, with literal elimination at stake. Blending the spectacle of talent shows with high-stakes dystopia, Survival Show! explores the enduring appeal of girlbands and the dangers and allure of celebrity culture.

Power dynamics in the entertainment world also feature prominently in debut author, and former music industry executive, Delphine Seddon’s fiercely feminist novel set in the music business. Daisy Jones & The Six meets Euphoria, Darkening Song follows a teen star from Manchester and her ambitious manager as they navigate friendship, ambition, and the devastating cost of success. Darkening Song has an original score soundtrack written and produced by an all-female team and performed by the incredible independent artist, S.Michaud. The book is going to be adapted into a major TV series.
