Chameleon Quartet at the Burgess

Unfortunately, the Chameleon Quartet is having to postpone this concert due to Covid-19. Watch this space for a new date. Ticket holders will be contacted.

“Sound and Space” is the next instalment of Virtually Live: LIVE, a concert series started by Chameleon.

Chameleon are an all female woodwind quintet based in Manchester, who offer their unique and exciting approach to music through the use of tripling and quadrupling instruments (meaning they play 14 instruments between them!)

In this concert, you will be transported into the soundworld of each piece as the performers move through and around the audience. Using the room as an additional instrument to enhance the soundworlds created to immerse you in sound.

This Spring programme includes a range of works from Bach to Bozza, including a performance of a brand new work ‘Emplekton’ by RNCM student Eve Vickers.

Supported by the Royal Philharmonic Society Enterprise Fund in association with Harriet’s Trust.
