Concert: Hive Sinfonia – The Apiary

Come and join the Hive Sinfonia at the International Anthony Burgess Foundation. This exclusive evening, will showcase musicians in a variety of contexts, from chamber to orchestral.

Doors open 7pm, live music from 7:30pm.

There will be two segments, the second featuring a full orchestra, performing:

Debussy arr. Ravel Pour le Piano, II: Sarabande
Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor
Schubert Symphony No. 3

Before this, we will be treated to a variety of chamber performances, including Aspiciens Simulacrum, a piece for solo cello with pre-recorded backing, by RNCM Gold Medal winning composer, Henry George Page.

There will be a limited number of tickets available at the door. We strongly recommend purchasing in advance on Eventbrite for a reduced rate, and guaranteed entry. This event is not to be missed!
