Ormonde Ensemble are a collective of musicians with a commitment to diversifying the wind quintet repertoire, celebrating lesser-known artists, and widening access to live music.

Selected as Royal College of Music ‘Accelerate’ winners in 2023, they are excited to hold their pre-launch of Ormonde Editions in Manchester this July, to share an exclusive preview to their library of arrangements for wind ensemble.

Formed in London in 2021 when they began their post-graduate studies, members have since established themselves across the UK and Europe, performing and engaging with major orchestras and organisations to share music with a large audience.

This concert will feature 3 brand-new Ormonde Editions arrangements alongside works by György Ligeti and Valerie Coleman, and will run straight through with no interval. The performance is estimated to last 75 minutes and attendees are warmly invited to stay and chat afterwards!
