Exhibitions. New writing. Concert commissions. Academic research. Public events, in venues and online. And at the core of everything, preserving and promoting our extensive Anthony Burgess archive.
Your donation to the Burgess Foundation supports our mission to promote the life and work of Anthony Burgess in so many ways.
Liana Burgess would habitually tape as many of Anthony Burgess’s radio appearances as she could. Burgess was always happy to be interviewed, and took part in programmes for national and local broadcasters from all over the world. Listen here to segments from a long interview with a student radio station, WKCO (Ohio, USA) from 1980; an early-morning phone-in on LBC in 1978; and a discussion of Beethoven’s symphonies from 1990.
